I searched the McLaren tech info and they don't say. I did a quick Google search and didn't find anything either. Apparently you can drive the car in "eMode" which is all electric, this certifies the car for no-emissions zones in cities. What you can't do is Launch Control in eMode. I'm going to guess in eMode it limits itself, but that's pure conjecture. So, the answer: I have no idea, but it's a good question.

I'm guessing it'll be a little quicker then the BRZ/FRS. Since 0rpm torque+ stickier tyres.

I imagine, though the eMode is really meant to allow the car in emission free zones and only has a 10 km range. Talk about your range anxiety!

SWEET! I work 4.1km away from work :D clearly Mclaren is conspiring for me to purchase this car. haha
